Tatiana Foroud, PhD, leads Indiana University School of Medicine's $300 million research enterprise.
Dr. Foroud holds several leadership posts at IU and Indiana University Health and was named executive associate dean for research affairs on August 1, 2020, overseeing all research-related activities at the IU School of Medicine. She is one the executive associate deans who make up the school's executive leadership team with Dean Jay L. Hess, MD, PhD.
Dr. Foroud is a geneticist and leader in dementia research. She runs the NIH-designated repository for blood, DNA, tissue and other samples collected from patients throughout the country with Alzheimer’s disease.
